Siren Cover Reveal

I like art.

Sometimes I hate it, but most days I love it.

I like writing, too.

Sometimes I hate it, but most days I love it.

When I was a kid, I would go through cycles. Some weeks I would art, other weeks I would write. Never would the two go hand in hand until I grew up, got in the Navy, went out into the middle of the ocean, and was practically starved for anything that resembled literature and art.  Now that I’m in my late twenties and in school, I get my fill of art and very rarely do I get to do it for my own pleasure any more. So, imagine my absolute glee when an author I very much love and respect comes to me and says “hey, do you think you can…?”

My response falls somewhere between HELL YES and DUH, with both words coming out of my mouth somewhere in the slew of fangirl sqwee-ing. Because, let me tell you, when Jennifer Melzer asks for art, you do not say no.

So, today, it is my great pleasure to announce that I have had the opportunity to work with Jennifer on the cover for her new book, SIREN. Which is just absolutely going to be fabulous.

From the back cover:

On the night Siren Talbot’s boyfriend was going to propose he disappeared without a trace.

She loved Carver. She was willing to wait, but three years is a long time, and the new guy in the apartment next door isn’t about to walk away from a damsel in distress.

Sweet, charming, Patrick’s always there when she needs him, and Carver? Well… he’s still gone. It’s been three years, and her whole family says it’s time to move on. Patrick’s a good man, he loves her and he’s promised her the happily ever after she deserves.

She’s willing to overlook his secretive nature and the occasional flare of his prickly temper until a single discovery untangles the carefully spun threads of her new husband’s secret life.

Patrick knows exactly what happened to Carver.

The book is going to be available January 5, 2015. And here it is!
