CAROUSEL is gearing up for the big finish. I’m tap tap tapping away at it at the speed which I shouldn’t be tapping away. I should be flying through the thing, but that’s neither here nor there.
I wanted to take a minute and thank you guys.
To my twitter followers who have so kindly re-tweeted me from time to time. You know, when I actually say something clever.
To my Tumblr followers, who are small but mighty, and who have been with me for two years now.
And to you. My absolutely wonderful blog followers. I couldn’t do this, wouldn’t be doing this, if there wasn’t someone out there who actually liked what I write. Don’t get me wrong, this blog is some kind of necessary therapy, but it’s nice to know people get a kick out of me once in a while.
On a more personal note;
I want to thank Bubbe who is taking a much-needed break from Al Gore’s internets right now. Your support and positivity make me smile when I need it the most.
To Yvonne Hertzberger who has been here, cheering me on since I decided I was gonna do this whole writing thing for realsies.
To Dan Mader. Because oh my God Don’t Ask JD Mader. The Monday laugh that is needed. So, so very badly.
To Jay Langjeans and Tony Whitford, my podcast partners in crime. NewFictionWriters is coming back in the new year and we’re going to make it better than ever.
To Tonia Brown, who keeps the world laughing.
And finally, but not leastly, to my writing partner/editor Shiri Sondheimer. Without you hon, I wouldn’t be the writer I am today.
I’m thankful for a lot of things in my life. Including all of my mistakes, but you guys have made the biggest impact. And I thank you for it.
To all of my American followers, Happy Thanksgiving. To all of my Jewish followers, Mazel Gobbletov (best. word. ever.) To everyone else; Happy Thursday! Or Thorsday. Whichever you prefer.
You guys -all of you guys- are the best, and I wouldn’t trade you for the world.
